Defence of the sector before the public authorities. We have a long history of experience and collaboration as recognised intermediaries, participating as experts in matters of importance to our sector, making proposals with political influence, making heard the voice of the service we represent and participating in the various debate and discussion forums (internal and external to FEDAIA) in order to tackle decisive issues by encouraging the participation of federation members. We represent both the third sector organisations and the public in general, and we form part of several other organisations in order to make our own contribution to their work.

At the General Assembly, with internal or external work committees. Participation and support on the development of other spaces or work groups that specialise in providing care services to children and young people at risk of social exclusion.

Access to conferences, seminars, ideas exchange and debate platforms organised by the federation and by other organisations and bodies. The Board of Directors approves an annual Training Plan that defines the organisations of forums, seminars, conferences, presentations and offers the chance to participate in external conferences, seminars and congresses that affect the sector, as well as providing suitable training for the sector.

The Secretariat of FEDAIA manages and provides information on financial aid (Spanish Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs, MTAS) and other economic resources, as well as donations or projects (CaixaProInfància).

The completion of studies, research activities, models and projects at a regional, national or European level and participation in others that may be developed in order to detect emerging needs, to adapt the services aimed at children and reinvest in improvements for the sector. Option to participate directly or indirectly in these studies.

Receive publications, press releases, sector activities.
Up-to-date information service about the sector through informative and communicative channels such as Notifedaia (fortnightly electronic bulletin). This incorporates the sections of News, FEDAIA Meetings, Open Window, Financial Aid, Training and Press articles.
The Open Window section is reserved for the promotion of associated members of the federation and their activities or projects, as well as for sharing experiences and ideas.
